Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, survived the recent earthquakes in the area unspoiled. Making at the factory has start again but deliveries of Lamborghini's 691-hp Aventador may be postponed because of seller troubles.
The initial series of earthquakes hit the Modena province of northern Italy on May 20 and was followed by another series of shake on May 29. The May 29 quakes caused Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati to suspend manufacture.
Presently, Gallardo production is unchanged, but in a press release, Lamborghini said that suppliers have had to slow down or transfer production of some key components meant for the Aventador. The company did not specially say that production of new Aventador has finished but says that it is working with suppliers to reconstruct and regularize supply as speedy as possible.
A representative from Lamborghini was unavailable to make clear the status of new Aventador production at the time of this writing.
